Check before you spend. Keep proof when it matters.
Decionis Shield is a free app for iPhone, Android and Chrome that checks a purchase against limits you set — renewals, marketplace buys, apps and AI agents — asks you when something crosses them, and keeps a signed record you can show your bank. Pro is $59.99 a year.
Free to start. No card required. Rated 5.0 on the Chrome Web Store (60 ratings, as of 2026-09-19).

Five minutes to your first real decision.
Everything below is the product as it ships today — no demo data, no integration you have to wait for.
Three rules: a per-purchase limit, a renewal limit, a weekly allowance for apps and AI. Sixty seconds.
Shield holds a labelled $150 test renewal over your limit and issues a signed Dispute Passport you can verify without an account.
One code from the app pairs Chrome or Safari — no second sign-in. Shield reads the amount at supported checkouts.
You get a warning with the amount and the rule it broke, and a record. Shield warns; it does not disable the pay button.

Made for the age of assistants that shop.
An assistant built to ask Shield first receives one of three answers — ALLOW, ASK or BLOCK — before it spends, and ASK waits for your Face ID. An assistant that was not built to ask is not governed; that is the honest boundary, and the reason the developer path exists.

Get Shield ProCommon questions
Does Shield block every payment?
No. Shield holds a charge only when it passes through a supported app, an AI agent that asks Shield first, or a browser you paired; the Chrome and Safari extensions warn you on supported checkouts and keep the record, they do not disable the pay button. A charge Shield never saw is not stopped by a rule.
How do I prevent subscription auto-renewal charges from surprising me?
Set a per-renewal limit once — say $25 — and any supported renewal above it is held until you approve. Shield cannot cancel a subscription or reverse a charge; it turns a surprise on your statement into a question on your phone, with a record if you dispute it.
What happens when an AI assistant tries to spend?
An assistant built with ShieldKit or the Shield MCP tools asks Shield before it acts and receives ALLOW, ASK or BLOCK. ASK holds the purchase until you approve with Face ID. Assistants that were not built to ask are not governed — that is why the developer path exists.
Is it free?
Yes. Shield is free with three connected platforms and three Dispute Passports a month. Pro is $59.99 a year, cancel anytime: unlimited passports, custom limits, and every connected platform.
What is a Dispute Passport?
A signed record of one decision — what was requested, what Shield decided, and why — that anyone can verify with Shield's public key and no account. You can show it to your bank or a merchant when you question a charge.
What does Shield collect?
Your email, your spending rules, and the decisions Shield makes. No ads, no selling of data. An optional, off-by-default programme contributes anonymous, k-anonymous threat patterns — never amounts, never who — to a monthly report.
